Waiver Wire pick-ups for week 4

Not really a great week for pick-ups considering 6 teams are on bye but nevertheless here we go.

Kelvin Benjamin- He is for real. After another big game he should be added in all formats as he has established himself as the #1 non Greg Olsen receiving weapon in the offense

Brian Quick- What did I tell you last week?

Miles Austin, Andrew Hawkins- Both have been surprisingly effective players the last two weeks. Austin has caught a TD in consecutive weeks and Hawkins has put up 87, 70 and 87 yards through the first three weeks. Hawkins could be a high end receiver in PPR

Donald Brown- As the only healthy running back left on the Chargers Brown should be the top add of the week and a will be a good play against the Jaguars this week

Ahmad Bradshaw- He continues to rack up the fantasy points. He has been good on the ground and has 3 receiving TD’s in the last two games. Another must add if you didn’t already grab him last week

John Brown- He scored two touchdowns last week and I have heard people raving about him since the pre-season and he delivered last week with 2 TD’s. He should be an add in deeper leagues and on your radar in standard leagues.

Kirk Cousins- He is for real. After a monster performance for the second week in a row he should be an add in all formats

Lorenzo Taliafero- He had a strong game last week and is worth an add as Baltimore’s running back situation is still unsettled. Bernard Pierce should return this week but hasn’t looked great in the job and Justin Forsett has settled into his role as a change of pace back and pass catching back. Taliafero has a chance of becoming the Ravens starter and could be a low end flex with the right match-up until then

Alfred Blue- Arian Foster handcuff

Eddie Royal- Phillip Rivers seems content on getting spreading the ball and getting players like Royal involved. combined with Keenan Allen’s struggles Royal could continue to produce

Cody Parkey, Nick Folk- If you are tired of the crappy kicker you drafted(aka Mason Crosby, Phil Dawson) go out and grab one of these guys. Parkey is the #1 scoring kicker in fantasy right now and Folk is a solid option that is usually good for 6+ points and ranked in the top 10 at the position

Kyle Juszczyk, Owen Daniels- One or both of these will take on the targets left behind by Dennis Pitta after he suffered another season ending hip injury. Daniels starred for the Ravens against the Steelers and scored two TD’s that game. Juszczyk had 54 yards and a TD last weekend. I give Daniels a slight edge because he has played for offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak in Houston and knows the system.

Teddy Bridgewater- He came in and played alright against the Saints and gets a good match-up this week against the Falcons. If he can properly utilize Cordarrelle Patterson, Greg Jennings and Kyle Rudolph he could be effective and is definitely worth an add in deeper leagues.
