The “Duh” Pick-Ups
Jonas Gray- He had a mammoth performance Sunday night with 199 yards and 4 TD’s. and is the de-facto waiver add of the week. He is a Patriot running back, which comes with it’s own headaches, but he should be picked up everywhere regardless.
Coby Fleener- He had a huge game against the Patriots and if Dwayne Allen misses time with his injury Fleener vaults up the rankings as he would take all of the tight end work over in Indianapolis.
Josh McCown- All he does is produce fantasy points. McCown finished his second straight start with his second straight top 5 fantasy performance among QB’s. The schedule is kind the rest of the way(Chicago next, followed by Cincinnati, Detroit, Carolina Green Bay and New Orleans) and McCown should continue to produce.
Packers D/ST- A huge performance this week against the Eagles after a strong showing against the Bears last week and the Packers are a must own defense. They have the Vikings up next, who they held to 10 point in their last meeting.
CJ Anderson, Juwan Thompson- Montee Ball re-injured himself and Ronnie Hillman’s injury was more serious than initially thought, so that leaves Anderson, who has very well in fantasy in his last two games, and Thompson, who has played the TD vulture in previous games and is the only other healthy running back on the roster currently.
The Other Pick-Ups
Chris Hogan- A deeper league(probably PPR) league add. Hogan has had at least 5 catches and 50 yards in his last two games and if Orton keeps sending the 8 targets per game he has seen during that stretch Hogan will be fantasy relevant.
Wes Welker, Jacob Tamme- They could see some extra work if Emmanuel Sanders and Julius Thomas miss time and Tamme should be available everywhere and I know a lot of owners have already moved on from Welker.
